Surveys in Deep Water

There are some Innomar SES-2000 SBP models intended mainly for work in deeper waters for offshore projects:

Deep Water Data Examples

The following echo plots show some data examples obtained in water depths between about 1,500 and more than 5,000 metres.

Innomar SES-2000 SBP echoprint data example from deep water (water depth about 1,500m)
"Innomar SES-2000 deep-36"  parametric sub-bottom profiler echoprint data example obtained off Greenland
(water depth about 1,500m; range 1,470–1,590m below sea level; frequency 4kHz).

Innomar SES-2000 medium SBP echoprint data example from deep water (water depth about 2,200m)
"Innomar SES-2000 medium-100"  parametric sub-bottom profiler echoprint data example in deep water
(water depth about 2,200m; range 2,160–2,250m; sediment penetration about 30m; frequency 5kHz; pulse width 0.8ms).

Innomar SES-2000 SBP echoprint data example from deep water (water depth about 3,600-3,900m)
"Innomar SES-2000 deep-36"  parametric sub-bottom profiler echoprint data example obtained off Brazil
(water depth about 3,600–3,900m; range 3,600–4,040m below sea level; frequency 4kHz; pulse width 1.5ms; sediment penetration up to 100m).

Innomar SES-2000 SBP echoprint data example from deep water (water depth about 5,200-5,400m)
"Innomar SES-2000 deep-36"  parametric sub-bottom profiler echoprint data example obtained off Brazil
(water depth about 5,220–5,420m; range 5,220–5,500m below sea level; frequency 5kHz; pulse width 1.2ms; sediment penetration up to 80m; vessel speed about 11 knots).

Installation Examples

Innomar SES-2000 medium-100 SBP transducer mounted at a pole Innomar SES-2000 medium SBP transceiver unit
Innomar SES-2000 medium SBP transducer flush-mounted at the hull

"Innomar SES-2000 medium-100" SBP installation examples: transceiver unit (top right), transducer mounted flush with the ship's keel (bottom right) and transducer mounted at a pole that can be lowerde from the ship's keel (left).
