11. Workshop "Seabed Acoustics" 2025

Since 2001 Innomar has been hosting the user conference "Seabed Acoustics". The 11th Innomar user workshop will take place 5/6th November 2025 in "Hotel Neptun" in Rostock-Warnemünde (Germany). Workshop language is English.

You may still have good memories on the previous workshops. We received much positive feedback and have started already with enthusiasm and new ideas to prepare this year‘s event as a joint workshop held by Innomar and Norbit Subsea. Main focus are presentations and discussions, which are planned for the first day of the workshop. Development projects, technology reports and user experiences in the field of acoustical seabed investigation will be presented. After the presentations, during the session breaks and at the popular evening event will be sufficient time available for discussions and exchange of experiences. During the second day of the workshop equipment will be shown in operation on a river boat. Beside of the demonstrations additional workshop sessions are scheduled.

Topics of this workshop include, but are not limited to:

• high-resolution sub-bottom profiling,
• acoustics for in- and offshore installations (pre-site investigations, pipeline inspection, risk mitigation, etc.),
• using various acoustic profiling systems simultaneously, e.g. sub-bottom profiler, multibeam, sidescan sonar,
• underwater archaeology and detection of buried objects,
• underwater acoustic signal and image processing,
• acoustic seafloor characterization.
