Business Development Manager (m/w/d)

Innomar is looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d), who works close with the management at Innomar's head office in Rostock / Germany.



Your task

In this newly created position, the job holder (m/f/d) is responsible for the consistent further development of the company within the international markets. He/she develops a future-oriented sales and product strategy in close cooperation with the management and the research and development department and oversees its implementation.


These include:

  • Analysis and identification of market potential and new business areas
  • Analysis of trends and requirements within the different markets
  • Targeted identification and acquisition of target customers and strategic partners
  • Expansion, maintenance and optimization of the international partner and sales network
  • Support and development of international key accounts
  • Participation in trade fairs and events


The ideal candidate (m/f/d)

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering (e.g. electrical engineering, communications or information technology, (geo)physics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar technical subject, ideally with an economic minor)
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of sales / business development of technically complex applications or in the technical consulting business
  • Technical interest and a holistic understanding of systems (both hardware and software)
  • Strong commercial understanding
  • Intercultural competence (Europe, AsiaPac, Americas)
  • High affinity and enthusiasm for the maritime environment and maritime technologies
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (other languages are an advantage)
