Product launch at workshop "Seabed Acoustics"

2017-Nov-03

During the 8th workshop "Seabed Acoustics" on November 09/10, 2017 Innomar is going to launch a new shallow-water SBP model and to show a pre-release of our ISE Version 3 post-processing software.

The new Innomar SES-2000 smart model is the smallest member of the Innomar SES-2000 sub-bottom profiler family, even smaller than the SES-2000 compact model. It was designed for inshore surveys in (extremely) shallow waters down to 100 metres water depth using small boats, but can also be used in coastal areas.

For details of the workshop programme please see our "Seabed Acoustics" 2017 page.

Innomar Student Project 2017 finished

2017-Oct-13

We are pleased to announce that the Innomar Student Project 2017 has finished successfully. Three students/institutions received direct support from Innomar which included our SES-2000 compact parametric sub-bottom profiler and on-site training. The surveys were well organized and performed by all participants. The data analysis and reports were of high quality and led to interesting results. We believe that all findings have contributed to the understanding of the specific scientific problems in the survey areas and will stimulate further research and investigations.

After evaluation of the submitted project reports we would like to name and congratulate the winning student and his project: Wojciech Szymczak (Polish Naval Academy, Poland): "Parametric echosounder SES-2000 compact measurements of reflections from buried object sounding pulses ? their recognizability and visualization".

Please see our dedicated Student Project 2017 page for details.
